A dramatic designer cabochon of old school Baskenite Jasper from Oregon. Baskenite is a rare cutting material This is from an old dig in Southern Oregon the Volcanic Area that makes up the McDermit Caldera. A really nice interesting stone! It has a glossy high polish front and back and is professionally cut. Slightly beveled to facilitate setting, it will look terrific set in one of your designs or as a terrific addition to your collection.
